Halloween treat-mini rolls

For today's Halloween treat, I thought I would try one of the Halloween themed mini rolls. Mini rolls are one of my favorite spongy treats (as long as it's the strawberry jam ones, yummy)

Like the previous treat I tried these are blackcurrant too (boo) although they might be nice like the last ones (yay) but these aren't sour (boo again!)

I'm not too keen on the vampire that's used on the packaging. I'm not sure why but he seems creepy, and not the happy jovial vampire I think they were going for.

I was saddened that these were not mummy themed when I read the words 'individually wrapped by vampires', as they missed out on a cheesy mummy themed pun
(although saying this, Cadbury's may well have other Halloween themed mini rolls, and I will be on the look out)

I am glad however it wasn't werewolves doing the wrapping..imagine the amount of hair you would find...

That vampire is back, gah! Unlike the last treat, this one has a rather dull blurb on it just stating what the product is, with no images of blood curdling blackcurrant and the like. I was also disappointed to find all the packs had the same image on them. At least have a little variety, like a big vampire bat on one, or lots of bats flying in front of a moon like on the main packaging, come on!

This better taste good...

Honestly...I'm not very keen on it at all, although this is probably down to my dislike of most blackcurrant flavoured things. It tastes how I would imagine concentrated Ribena jelly or jam to taste like, which to me is unpleasant. However like with the normal mini rolls the sponge, cream, and chocolate are tasty.

It's not something I would have again in a hurry and would much rather stick to the usual ones, but if you like strong blackcurrant flavours you may enoy it, but I would give it a pass.

I will be on the look out for any other Halloween themed mini rolls and fingers crossed there will be a mummy involved somewhere!

I think I remember eating these a couple of years ago, and they were good (I like blackcurrant flavour things a lot). I'd definitely say if you're not adverse to blackcurrant and want a mini roll that's a bit different to the usual fare, then these are worth giving a go!
