The strange faces of Drayton Manor

We have been having wonderful weather the last couple of weeks so the bf suggested going to Drayton Manor the Saturday just gone. It's close to where he lives and wouldn't be as busy as Alton Towers on a hot day. I love roller coasters and Drayton has the bonus of having a zoo there too so we went!

The last time I went I drank the day before so when I got there I wasn't feeling up to going on this and I've been wanting to go back so I could...yes I'm special...

Going around the park I started to noticed a few...odd faces. Maybe it was the heat, maybe is was me slowly going crazy, but the faces of things around me looked weird! I know I'm not explaining myself well but all is about to become clear. Click any of the pictures to be able to see them enlarged :)

It started while I was waiting to go on maelstrom

I was standing in the queue when I looked to my right and saw these!

Don't tell me those don't look like happy whales (well apart from the one on the bottom right, he looks a bit distraught)

I then turned around only to be confront by this!

Just look at it!

LOOOOK!

Well after a couple of other rides which were great but uneventful face wise, we went into the indoor pirate ride where I was met with these guys

Oh dear...look at that lion growling, presumably due to hunger by the looks of the thin, boney body. And on the right, a freaked out unicorn who looks like someone's farted and it's desperately trying to get away. The smell of which must be amplified for it too, as it appears that two nostrils fused together to make one large, fart smelling nostril on that side of its face.

Well it's that or it saw a particularly gruesome murder and now stares at that spot in horror forever more...but it's probably the fart thing.

I don't know which one looks worse oh wait yes I do the unicorn...

There were some amazingly bad models on the ride but I would not have got a good photo of those alas, but they made the ride much more entertaining!

Next up are some animal friends making interesting faces. First up was this guy here, being very happy..

and then him...

Someone was having a good time. I wasn't able to get a photo of the true majesty of this moment, but I captured it as best as I could. His face was priceless!

By this point I though no, surely nothing else will appear in all its silly faced glory, but there was one more...

This little guy right here. Look at that faaaaace! All serious looking with a hint of distrust and judgment. If I could I would have taken him home and put him by the front door so when anyone rings the doorbell they can feel the stare of this little dino as it judges them...

Well that was my day of interesting looks from things around the park. I'm sure there would have been some around Thomas land but going into a packed kids area kidless and taking lots of photos may have looked slightly strange. Maybe I'll check out the Thomas area next time if it's quiet.
