Due to the festive season and a bad cold I haven't been giving this blog enough love, but since my cold is just about gone, I'm back yay!
I'm hoping to update this 1-2 times a week so I hope you stay tuned!
First review of the year is a drink that has been hogging space in the fridge, a Ramune soda.

I've had these type of drinks before, but not this one in particular. I was drawn to it since if a drink is coloured blue, I can't resist it!
I also love these type of drinks as they have a little glass marble in the top that you have to push into the bottle using the lid so you can drink it.

It says the flavour is blue Hawaii which I will guess is either your typical blue raspberry with a tropical sounding name, or a mixed fruit punch flavour.
On tasting it I would say that it's the fruit punch flavour. It's pretty sweet but the flavour itself is quite subtle, yum!
I thought since it's a Friday night and to celebrate my first post of the New Year I would use it to make a cocktail.
After a little think and a look through the drinks we bought for Christmas, I decided to go for the Jagermeister as it's one of my favorite spirits, mmmm!
Well time to mix them together and see how it tastes!
Well it err...certainly came out an interesting colour!
It's not the easiest to see in the image but it's a murky green colour...I love it!
Although it tastes nice, I think the Jager has overpowered the Ramune maybe a little bit too much but I can still taste it, giving the drink a slight fruit taste and a small amount of fizz.
After a few sips I have decided to name this drink Dragon's Blood, due to its colour, taste, and because dragons are brilliant! This means I can only drink it one way...

Perfect...
If you like sweet but subtle soft drinks I would recommend this drink if you see it.
As for the cocktail...well how can you resist something called Dragon's Blood! Give it a try, even if you can't find this particular soft drink as I think it would work well with any blue coloured drink.
