At the weekend I went to my local toy shop and bought one of these...
I had not seen them before and the label gave no indication to what they looked like so I bought one out of curiosity.
The label yells 'love your ZELF! which worried me that by buying it I was now under contract to love whatever was inside, or face possible consequences if I didn't...I reeaallyy hoped I would like the contents...

I really love what it came in! They could have just put it in something plain but instead they decorated it like a plant pot with plants bursting out of it.
A hole in the top revealed that its hair was green but still gave no clue as to what was inside, which was...
This!
A hybrid of an elf and a troll toy is the best way I can describe it. Although I was slightly disappointed in the colour I got, it's grown on me and is currently hanging out on my keyboard (so luckily no need to face the consequences of not liking it)
Looking at the collector's leaflet that came with it, my one's called Elfa, and it's the glitter version. There are 12 in all to collect, and each one comes in standard, pearl, or glitter finish which means there are plenty to collect!
I'll be buying these again as there are a couple I have my eye on and for the price (a couple quid) I won't feel like I'm spending too much money on them.
